Upon Arrival

When you arrive in Canada

Once you arrive, you should provide your study permit papers and admission package to get your study permit. You also need to verify the information on the study permit to ensure that it is correct and accurate. 

Getting settled

Next, you should register with the International Student Office at your university. You should also open a bank account and get a local phone number. If you need assistance with transportation from the airport, you can arrange for a taxi or shuttle service in advance. Once you have all the papers ready (study permit copy, visa copy, bank – void check) send them to the Cultural office to start receiving your monthly allowances.
